Brain-computer interface (BCI) is a direct link between the human brain and the computer. It involves registering the activity of the central nervous system and interpreting it to determine the state of the human brain or to decode a certain number of commands. In this talk we will discuss ways to detect and interpret brain activity, and some interesting achievements in various research labs. Containerization is one of the most promising modern alternatives to virtualization where lightweight ‘containers’ with only few sufficient properties are run as VMs instead of full-scale OS in virtual mode. Docker and Kubernetes are currently the de-facto standard tools worldwide to implement containerization. Containiration finds useful applications in almost all modern day applications. As such, a detailed tutorial and introduction to these concepts are very important, especially to developers and researchers starting their journeys. In this talk, we will learn the basics of Containerization and how it revolutionizes application development, deployment, and management. We will gain hands-on experience with: - Creating and managing docker containers. - Using docker compose to orchestrate multiple containers. - Deploying application in Kubernetes clusters.
